NAC-10-472

The NAC-10-472 is a COSEL NAC series single-phase EMI line filter rated at 10 A and about 250 V AC or 250 V DC, in a compact chassis-mount body with screw terminals and an optional DIN-rail fitting. It is a general-purpose filter that attenuates the conducted noise on a mains or a DC line, so a switching power supply and the equipment around it meet the relevant emissions standard, and the 472 line-to-ground capacitor code gives a leakage current of about 0.5 mA at the rated voltage. The filter combines common-mode and differential-mode elements to suppress the noise that a switching converter reflects onto the line, and the screw terminals and the DIN-rail option make the installation in a panel straightforward. A line filter is a standard part of a compliant power design, and the NAC series covers a range of currents and capacitor codes, so a designer can match the current and the leakage to the application.
